As our dear nation marks her 65th Independence Anniversary, I, Hon. Olujobi Fayoyin, join millions of Nigerians at home and abroad to say Happy Birthday, Nigeria.
Sixty-five years in the life of a nation is both a time for reflection and a call to action. Indeed, our journey has not been without challenges, but within those challenges lies the unshakable truth that Nigeria still carries great promise.
Our strength as a people does not lie in division but in unity. Nigeria can only grow if we all come together as one—speaking with a single voice of progress, building bridges across tribes, regions, and faiths. When we stand together, there is no challenge too great for us to overcome.
To those who still hold on to hope, I say: do not relent. Let your optimism inspire others. Let your resilience ignite the flame of patriotism in the hearts of our fellow citizens. For those who may have lost hope, remember that every nation that shines today once walked the difficult road we now travel. If they could rise, so can Nigeria.
The future belongs to us all, and our collective destiny depends on our willingness to dream together, to work together, and to build together.
On this special day, I encourage every Nigerian to look beyond the difficulties of the present and embrace the possibilities of a brighter tomorrow. Together, we can make Nigeria a land where peace, prosperity, and justice reign.
